Meet Our Team

William Schrock
CEO

William has been building dreams for over four decades. Diversified in his business ventures, he is ultimately in the "people" business. Successful in business, family, and faith, William enjoys the process of getting to know you and hearing your wants, needs and desires. He then works closely with you to turn them into a reality that lasts a lifetime! William is very involved in the local community, supporting its growth and development, and is always there to donate his time and resources to serve those in need. He is passionate about his family and embraces a healthy living style encompassing mental, spiritual, and physical wellbeing. He enjoys deal making and mentoring, while finding relaxation in playing golf, traveling, hiking, and grilling meals to share with clients, family, and friends.

Ed Brenneman
COO

Ed has been an integral player with Schrock Construction for over 20 years. Starting out as a laborer and worked his way up over the years, he was able to buy into the company in 2014. In addition to the milestone of becoming an owner in the company, his career highlights are building a county bridge, horse barns/riding arenas, and hangars, as well as the demolition of Ravalli County fairgrounds building, the materials from which were repurposed throughout the Bitterroot Valley. Ed enjoys volunteering in the community with local charities and youth sports programs, including baseball and basketball that he shares with his four boys.

Katie McWilliam
Executive Assistant for William

Katie brings a breath of knowledge to her role as Executive Assistant to William gained from owning & managing an engineering company, in partnership with her husband, which specialized in residential & commercial building evaluations.  This background gives her a unique insight into the construction industry and allows her to assist William in all his endeavors.  Intentional in all she takes on, Katie views life as one grand, faith-filled, adventure.   Having circumnavigated the world with her family for 14 years on their sailboat, Katie is now enjoying the four seasons of the Bitterroot and all the new adventures that come with owning a ranch in western Montana.

Lindsi Fernlund
Executive Assistant for Ed

Lindsi brings to Schrock over 7 years’ experience in construction administration ranging from day-to-day office tasks to bookkeeping that help in her role as Executive Assistant to Ed. She comes from a background of military family members and having served in the United States Army herself. Her husband is still currently an active-duty service member in the Army which is what brought them to Montana. Lindsi enjoys spending time with her husband and kids camping, fishing, and hunting.

Heidi Woosley
Office Manager

Heidi began at Schrock Construction with over 25 years of past office experience working in administration, sales, managing, and dispatching. Her love of that personal interaction and in helping people has always kept her interests at positions that deal with the customer. Heidi feels blessed that her jobs over the years have been at companies that are grounded, honest, and ethical at their core, and she feels Schrock is no exception to that. Heidi enjoys hiking, biking, exploring, and anything that involves a target. Heidi’s favorite part of living in Montana is the wide-open country and small-town values.

Nick Pieri
Civil

With 19 years of construction and concrete experience, Nick brings a wealth of knowledge to Schrock Construction. In 2018, Nick relocated with his family to the Bitterroot Valley from Fargo, North Dakota, where he spent 15 years pouring concrete for grain bins, stamped concrete patios, and decorative concrete edging. In that time, he also gained valuable knowledge building home additions, learned from master electricians and tradesmen, and developed into a skillful crew leader. He is a father to three young children, has two German Shorthaired Pointer dogs, and has been married to his wife Laura for 13 years. Weekends find Nick working on home improvement projects, playing board games and video games with family and friends, and exploring all the Bitterroot Valley has to offer.

Bruce Murray
Field Operations Manager

Bruce has over 30 years’ experience in the construction trades with most of his career spent in the glazing and exterior façade area. He also has experience in timber framing, project management, estimating, and carpentry. One of his career highlights here at Schrock has been overseeing the addition to GSK located in Hamilton, MT. His commitment to continuing education has afforded him the ability to implement new systems in the areas of project management, safety, and operations which improved overall company efficiencies. Blessed with an amazing wife, Bruce enjoys raising six incredible young men and enjoys playing golf in his spare time.

Clinton Kauffman
Senior Project Manager

Clinton has over 17 years’ experience in the construction trades as an estimator, project manager, superintendent, and carpenter/foreman. Clinton’s career highlights here at Schrock have been the expansion of the Roots Fellowship church building in Victor, MT and the remodel of the Missoula Big Creek Coffee in Missoula, MT.

Nate Ward
Project Manager

Nathan has over 23 years’ experience in the construction trades as a general contractor and a site superintendent for log home construction. Nathan's career highlight here at Schrock has been in the custom home division building homes of all sizes. Hailing from Western Washington, Nathan and his wife moved to the Bitterroot Valley where he enjoys building for himself and friends, as well as fishing and hiking in his free time.

James King
Superintendent

James has contributed over 8 years of superb craftsmanship and guidance to the crews in the company. James began building homes in 1971 and today is inspired and motivated when a new build comes across his plate. His joy of working with customers, while ensuring they are satisfied with the entire building process, ranks high on his list. James’s character of honesty and complete transparency in producing quality work, is evident on each project he oversees.  A man whose love of faith, family and this country is evident in all he does. He finds great enjoyment being in the outdoors whether on his bike, horse, or hunting and fishing in the wonderful state he calls home.
